Founded by IR Sander van Vreeland in 2018, SmartCompounders is a pioneer and industry expert in the field of pharmacy compounding. With a university degree in Mechanical Engineering and over two decades of experience, Sander has been at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for pharmaceutical compounding. His expertise and leadership have propelled SmartCompounders to become a trusted name in the industry.

Sander has been committed to revolutionizing pharmacy compounding. His journey began in 2009 when he designed and installed his first Chemo Compounder at the Institut Curie in Paris. Since then, our solutions have been installed in leading institutes worldwide, including Uniklinikum Heidelberg in Germany and Hopitaux Universitaires de Geneve in Switzerland. In 2020, his son Maarten van Vreeland joined the company after earning a university degree in Industrial Design. Together with the team, they are revolutionizing pharmacy compounding.
